The Master of Cancer and Haematology Nursing aims to assist nurses who care for people affected by cancer and haematological illness to develop their knowledge and skills for their care. Students will investigate the biology of cancer and haematology and associated treatments. Who is it for? Designed for registered nurses, this degree will develop your knowledge about all aspects of the prevention, diagnosis and management of cancer and haematological illnesses, future treatment trends and the impact of these illnesses on the individual and family.
Career paths: Graduates of this course will be recognised as having advanced knowledge relevant to cancer and haematology nursing. With specialised knowledge and skills, they will contribute to important decisions about future trends in treatment, patient care and disease prevention. They will be able to work in all areas of cancer and haematology nursing, including: care delivered in specialist units, community care, acute care, inpatient and home-based care

Admission to this course requires: a pre-registration nursing degree with credit average from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; or an embedded graduate certificate or graduate diploma in this discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification. In addition, the applicant is required to be a registered nurse in Australia or overseas.
IELTS: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 7.0 in each band; TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 25 in Writing; Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 68 in each band
