Centennial College's Health Studies and Communications Skills program is an academic pathway undertaking. It will benefit you if you wish to obtain a post-secondary education in college-level health programs in which English fluency (reading, writing, listening and speaking) is a professional requirement for safe practice.
Communication is the cornerstone to any health practice. As such, this Health Studies and Communications Skills program focuses on enhancing the communication skills necessary for the development of professional relationships within the workplace. As you refine your English language skills, you also learn the health terminology used within Canadian health care settings as well as key health concepts.
The program enables you to continue into the professional health program of your choice within the School of Community and Health Studies, with all admission requirements met.
