Students in the Master of Arts in Classics program will develop mastery in the fields of classical studies, ancient Greek and Latin.

The Department of Classics offers programs of study leading to a Master of Arts in Classics.

To be considered for admission into the classics master's program, you must have demonstrated proficiency in reading ancient Greek and Latin and a minimum of a four-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Greek, Latin or Classics.

English language proficiency requirements:

IAEP (Intensive Academic English Program): Pass Level 5/AEPUCE (Academic English Program for University and College Entrance) with a minimum of 65% overall

IELTS (Academic module) (International English Language Testing System): 6.5 overall

Internet-based TOEFL (TOEFL-iBT) (Test of English as a Foreign Language): Overall score of 86; 20 in Reading; 20 in Writing; 20 in Listening; 20 in Speaking

Pearson Test of English Academic: 61 overall
