Our interdisciplinary Master of Health Informatics program is designed with the vision of health as the focus and technology as the enabler. Our program offers training in analyzing the issues and then designing solutions to improve all aspects of health care from the delivery of patient care to the promotion of healthy lives.

You don’t need a prior degree in health informatics or information technology to join our program. Full-time MHI students usually complete the program in two years.
The program has two streams:
The thesis stream involves a 2-3 term research project under the supervision of a faculty member. The internship stream involves a 13-16 week work term at a health informatics company or at a healthcare organization.
