Master's in Global Communication and Diversity: something for you?

A unique programme that focuses on linguistic and intercultural dimensions of communication in and by international organisations.
Offering an internship in which you work towards answering a specific communication question or solving a particular communication issue for an organization in the Netherlands that operates internationally.
Allowing you to study on an international campus in small-scale lectures and intensive workshops.
With room to develop your specific interests, in both your thesis project, an internship, and electives.

What will you learn?

In the Master’s specialisation in Global Communication and Diversity, you’ll learn to operate as an independent communication specialist, who is able to work in and with organisations to develop and advise on effective stakeholder communications and communication strategies. Building on your Bachelor’s degree, you’ll develop and maximize the knowledge, skills and tools needed to set up and carry out systematic communication research independently, and to formulate and implement tailor-made recommendations to optimise communication in and by organisations that operate in international contexts. You'll explore themes such as the impact of globalisation on business communication and international management, the role of linguistic and cultural diversity in communication (e.g. marketing and advertising, recruitment communication, corporate communication), and the consequences of an organisation’s language policy for internal and external communication. In doing so, you'll gain insight into the factors that can shape and affect an organisation's communications and its reputation and performance in international contexts.
