Doing business across borders and cultures can be a complex affair. The Diploma in International Business (IBZ) provides you with an understanding of global affairs and equips you with key business competencies in areas such as human capital management, marketing communication and entrepreneurship. You will also get the opportunity to travel every year for learning trips or even propose an overseas study trip to a destination of your choice.

With our programme strongly endorsed by the Singapore Business Federation and through our partnership with the Singapore Shippers’ Academy, you will be able to build an international network of contacts and gain strong industry experience while studying in NP.

Shanghai Overseas Centre

Our unique overseas centre helps to facilitate student learning programmes in China. Located at a prime business address in Shanghai, the centre is where you will get to attend talks and be mentored by experienced business practitioners.

Gain Exposure through Yearly Overseas Trips

Year 1: Learning Journey [ASEAN Countries] - Go on learning journeys in the ASEAN region. You will gain cross-cultural perspectives and a better understanding of different business environments.

Year 2: Study Trip [Regional Countries] - Venture further to countries such as China and Japan. You will also be able to attend talks and network with international business practitioners.

Year 3: Internship [Worldwide] - Embark on an overseas internship of up to six months at global commercial hubs such as Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, Sydney, Melbourne, and even those in the European Union and the United States!

You could also propose a study trip to any part of the world. This option is available to all Year 3 students

Careers

Build a career in business development, sales and marketing, human resource management, operations and logistics or become a global entrepreneur. You will also be able to find employment in the financial services and trading sectors as well as in the fields of property development, education, tourism, hospitality, finance and healthcare.

The IBZ diploma is recognised by all local universities and many overseas universities, with many of them granting module exemptions. In fact, our graduates enjoy at least one year’s exemption at many universities in Australia and the United Kingdom.
