This certificate focuses on data analytics and detection techniques used by forensic accountants. You’ll experience ands-on, project-based learning using case studies, data analysis software, and “live” data. Our curriculum covers topics that are relevant to the CPA, CMA and CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) professional examinations.
Data analytics is one of the most quickly growing fields in the world. Our program offers a unique, in-demand skill set immediately transferrable to the marketplace. You’ll learn from professors with actual forensic accounting experience, including the detection of fraud. You can complete this certificate outside of a master’s degree program if you only want training in forensic accounting.
This program can be completed in one calendar year and features night classes to meet the needs of working professionals.
These computer lab-based courses can count as credit toward PNW’s MAcc degree with a concentration in forensic accounting.

Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or greater based on a 4.0 scale for unconditional admission. Students whose GPA is somewhat less than 3.0 may be considered for conditional admission.
