The four-year, full-time Émigre Physicians Program (EPP) is ideal for emigre physicians seeking to become Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) in the U.S.


You’ll receive the training needed to qualify for proper licensing, obtain your D.O. degree, and qualify for medical residency. You’ll study the principles and practices of osteopathic medicine and complete courses in specialized areas such as child abuse prevention, infection control, and medical Spanish.


Admission to the Émigre Physicians Program is highly selective and competitive. Candidates are chosen based on academic excellence, an in-person interview, and other criteria.

شروط القبول

للطلاب الدوليين

Applicants for the Osteopathic Medicine, D.O. – Émigré Program must meet the following criteria:

  • Be born outside the U.S. and be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident at the time of application (Green Card should expire after graduation date). Visa holders are not eligible to apply.
  • Possess a valid Foreign Medical Degree from an accredited university equivalent to the M.D. degree in the United States. The foreign medical institution should not be accredited by the United States Department of Education and as such should not qualify for U.S. federal financial aid.
  • If you have started any U.S. Residency program, you are not eligible to apply.
