Biomedical science is at the forefront of understanding health, disease and medical innovation, driving advances in healthcare and research. Our Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree equips you with the knowledge and practical skills to explore how the human body works, diagnose disease and contribute to these advances. During your biomedical science course, you’ll study areas such as human biology, disease processes, diagnostics and laboratory science. Guided by leading academics, you’ll develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills while exploring leading-edge research and how scientific discoveries translate into real-world health outcomes and biomedical research. You’ll study in the state-of-the-art Murdoch Health and Knowledge Precinct, home to three hospitals and multiple leading medical research centres, including the Australian National Phenome Centre. With access to modern laboratories and real-world clinical environments, you’ll gain hands-on experience using industry-standard equipment.
