This major provides you an opportunity to explore the rapidly evolving fields of artificial intelligence and internet of things. You will learn how to gather and prepare data, including the use of Internet of Things technologies, and to apply the right data mining and artificial intelligence tools for working with huge volumes of digital data to transform it into usable information. This major prepares you for a graduate career as a data mining analyst, machine learning engineer or an analyst programmer. If you are interested in a career as a data scientist or data analyst you are encouraged to do this major accompanied by some Data Handling and Statistics units such as KMA153 and KMA253 in your elective zone. A double degree is a structured program that allows you to study two separate disciplines simultaneously, earning two qualifications upon graduation.
