The Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics is a three-year degree designed to develop your skills and expertise in languages, linguistics, multilingual and cross-cultural communication. The program consists of a linguistics core, a major in a language other than English (LOTE) and 80 credit points of flexible subjects (which may be used towards another major or minor in another language). This program will equip you to confidently gain employment in professional settings such as teaching, interpreting, translation, journalism, business or international relations. Your future role could be in State and Commonwealth public service, the media, business, education, research or even overseas organisations.
