ماذا سوف أتعلم؟

This program gives students who are enrolled in the Western Sydney University Doctor of Medicine (MD) the opportunity to take a leave of absence from the normal medical program for 12 months full time or 24 months part time, after successfully completing years 1 and 2 of MD, in order to gain a more detailed experience in medical research than is provided in the normal medical program. Years 1 and 2 of the Bachelor of Medical Research are identical to years 1 and 2 of MD. It is expected that students will return to the medical program on completion of the intercalated year, which will complete the requirements for the Bachelor of Medical Research, but the degree is also available as an exit point for those who do not wish to resume MD. Note: Alternative entry options apply for this degree.

شروط القبول

للطلاب الدوليين

Must be currently enrolled in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Western Sydney University, and have successfully completed at least 160 credit points of that program, with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5 (credit average), before being admitted to Year 3 of the intercalated Bachelor Medical Research. Students must be compliant with NSW Health Legislation requirements and have the following. National Police Certificate (verified by NSW Health) and submitted to Student Central, Working with Children Check, Student Undertaking, First Aid Certificate (including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation – updated yearly) and Completed Adult Immunisation Card (verified by NSW Health) Completed documentation of compliance with NSW Health Records and Information Privacy Act.
