Podiatrists are health professionals who deal with the prevention diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions of the feet and lower limbs. In this podiatry course your education and training will explore various health sciences topics such as human anatomy and physiology biomechanics musculoskeletal and sporting injuries rheumatology paediatrics wound care podiatric therapeutics and conduct a research study. You will also develop podiatry-specific skills enabling you to graduate work-ready. Practical learning experiences are integral to the course and you will benefit from completing clinical placements at the purpose-built Allied Health Clinic at CQUniversity as well as in a variety of external clinical settings so you can put your learning into practice and gain real-life experience.
