Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology and Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology and Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis

Age of 18 years or above. Satisfactory completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 11 or higher. Have physical attributes suitable for working in the automotive industry that encompasses manual handling of equipment including lifting and carrying heavy objects within scope of safe working practices (i.e. removing and fitting engine electrical components and parts). Those undertaking the AUR40620 Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology must have completed AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or be able to demonstrate equivalent competency and Have physical attributes suitable for working in the automotive industry that encompasses manual handling of equipment including lifting and carrying heavy objects within scope of safe working practices (i.e. carrying diagnostic equipment and scan tools/equipment, removing and carrying vehicle electrical systems).
