The Certificate IV in Ageing Support includes CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support, and also addresses the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services. These services can include residential, home, or community based environments. The Certificate IV combines classroom training with on the job training by our highly qualified training staff. Students will be able to put into practice the skills that they have learnt in the classroom through placement at a registered aged care facility. Workers will carry out activities related to maintaining an individual’s wellbeing through personal care and /or other activities for living and may provide services to individuals with complex needs, and/or work with groups of older people.
