The Certificate III in Dental Assisting is a nationally recognised qualification for individuals seeking to work as a dental assistant in a clinical dental practice.
This course provides the knowledge and practical skills required to support dentists and oral health professionals during oral health care procedures. Areas of learning include chairside assistance, dental radiography, infection prevention and control, sterilisation processes, workplace safety and basic dental practice administration.
The course includes practical training and mandatory work placement, allowing students to apply their skills in a real dental setting and meet competency requirements.

DNA Kingston Training assists students with packaging English training if required.
There are no formal entry requirements mandated by the training package for this qualification; however, all students may be required to undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment prior to enrolment.
Additional requirements, such as Working With Children Check, immunisation evidence or workplace-specific checks, may be required by host dental practices for work placement.
