Students will learn about the crucial role modern digital technologies play in shaping new business models, disrupting industries and organising and transforming business operations. Students acquire practical skills and techniques to carry out an effective business analysis with a view to improving business operations or rethinking business models through the application of digital technologies. The specialisation also enables students to gain an understanding of the role of technologies, such a business information systems, in facilitating business transformation and organisational change in increasingly competitive market environments. Units of study in this area cover digital business innovation, agile business methods, business process management, digital transformation, digital work practices and information infrastructures.
