The Master of Design provides new skills for tomorrow’s industry leaders. The Strategic Design specialisation will introduce you to design management and leadership, the role of design in achieving strategic advantage in the marketplace, and methods of formulating vision and strategy through design.This program is aimed at talented individuals who seek to use technology creatively for design and commercial purposes, or to apply design for achieving a strategic advantage across a range of industries.The Master of Design (Strategic Design) is a postgraduate coursework degree that will allow you to gain a deeper understanding of strategic design and leadership by designing products, services and systems and learn how to apply them in a practical industry setting.You will complete foundation and advanced core units in strategic design, and a capstone unit that allows you to explore industry- or research-based design problems or situations, and enables you to interact with professionals and real-world problems from the design industry.Additionally, you will complete elective units as needed to make up the requirements of the course.
