This programme prepares aspiring education professionals to work with students of all ages whose first language is not English, as well as other stakeholders in the education field. It equips students with the skills and knowledge to effectively support language learners and promote inclusive educational practices. Combining linguistics, educational theories, technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge, the programme offers a rich environment to develop a sound understanding of English language components, enhancing teaching and interactions with students. Nottingham is ranked 47th globally for Education and Training (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024). Students will engage with an extensive network of trusted partners, including national and international schools, educational NGOs, enterprises, and edtech companies.
