The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biomedical Science at the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) is designed to meet national and international standards set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), UK. Recognised by the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC), this programme prepares students to excel in the dynamic healthcare and biomedical field. Over three years, students gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as biomedical innovations and entrepreneurship, personalised medicine and pharmacogenomics, and pandemic preparedness and global health. With a strong emphasis on practical skills and research, students undertake a 60-credit final-year research project and benefit from industry-integrated experiential learning. This programme fosters critical thinking, ethical practice, and leadership, equipping graduates to address contemporary health challenges.
