As a graduate of the Master of International Security Counter-Terrorism, you will gain the ability to analyse options for response, countermeasures and prevention. The programme will give you an understanding of the intended and unintended consequences of terrorism at individual, regional and global levels. Youll gain the ability to apply theory to the practice of counter terrorism policy, as well as strategy and operations in the New Zealand context.

To enter the Master of International Security Counter Terrorism you will have been awarded or qualified fora relevant bachelors degree with a grade average of at least B ora completed Postgraduate Certificate in International Security with at least a B grade average ora completed Postgraduate Diploma in International Security with at least a B Grade averageor you willbe able to demonstrate scholarly work in conjunction with extensive relevant professional experience and standing in leadership managerial and planning positions in government or non government security agencies appropriate for admission with equivalent status.
