For those that want to take their IT career to the next level Techtorium offers the NZ Diploma in IT Infrastructure. This programme is designed to provide you with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure management and security.
You will cover virtualization with Hyper-V, Azure IaaS, and AWS IaaS, plus virtual machine management. You’ll learn to secure cloud infrastructure, manage identities, implement Microsoft 365 solutions, deploy Windows devices, and configure network security, firewalls, and penetration testing with Azure.
This programme usually requires the NZ Diploma in IT Technical Support (Level 5), though relevant work or study may be considered. It also leads directly to Year 3 of the Techtorium Diploma in Cloud Management (Level 7).
A Systems Administrator sets up networks and servers, installs and maintains operating systems, and ensures data storage, backup, and recovery work properly. They may also train staff on tech systems and new software.

New Zealand Diploma of Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5)
Equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
