Our projects across disciplines continue to advance research, supported by partners ranging from the Arts and Humanities Research Council to the Wellcome Trust. We offer a full range of expertise in the archaeology of Britain, Europe and the Mediterranean from 5000 BC-1000 AD, with particular strengths in the following research areas: British Prehistory, European Neolithic, The Celtic World, The Anglo-Saxons and Vikings, Medieval Culture and Society, Greek and Roman Worlds, Ancient Egypt, Numismatics, Ancient Technologies and Materials Analysis, Bioarchaeology and Archaeological Heritage Management. Full-time duration - PhD 3 years, MPhil 1 year
