What you will study: The course will focus on game design and development, including narratives, environments, characters and mechanics. You will learn how to realise your game ideas using code and game engines in our state-of the art games lab. Students will work on gameplay, interactions and playability, enhancing levels with spectacular visual effects and immersive soundscapes. Industry professionals will visit the course to guest lecture and share their experiences. We are also members of The Independent Game Developers’ Association (TIGA), which is the main trade association for games in the UK. As members of TIGA, we aim to give graduates the skills they need to work in the UK’s £7-billion video games industry.
