This course is aimed at people who are interested in the technical involvement in motorsport engineering and in computer aided design for racing cars. To succeed on the course, you should have a passion for making racing cars perform. We equip the learners with the engineering skills they need to excel in the progression.The links we have generated with the local automotive and motorsport industry support the course in its development and we have had many successful years of our learners progressing into full-time roles within these companies.You will have access to all of the outstanding equipment we have in the department, including 2 wheel chassis dyno, engine dyno, composites workshop and CNC and fabrications workshops.By the end of the course you will be well equipped to take your skills out into the industry and gain employment in the ever developing automotive and motorsport sector.
