Our PhD/MPhil Health Informatics programme enables you to undertake a research project that will improve understanding of Health Informatics. Health informatics and data science is set to revolutionise healthcare by providing a deeper understanding between healthcare delivery, outcomes and patients as well as empowering people to manage their own health. Manchester has considerable breadth and expertise in this field, being home to the Centre for Health Informatics which encompasses researchers with an international reputation in the field. Our centre is truly multi-disciplinary, blending traditional academia with engineering, infrastructure and project management.
