University of Bayreuth

The University of Bayreuth was established in 1975 and has evolved over the years to become one of the most successful young universities in Germany. The university offers more than 186 degree programmes across seven faculties in the natural sciences, food sciences, engineering, law and economics, as well as language, literature and cultural studies. The University of Bayreuth prioritises interdisciplinary research and firmly believes that, with the globalised society of today constantly facing new and ever more complex questions, the right answers are found where there is close interdisciplinary cooperation.
