Mature students
Students who meet the citizenship requirements at the time of application will automatically receive the UOW Country scholarship when they choose to study a coursework degree at the University of Wollongong commencing in 2026 and beyond.
Students must not be receiving any other scholarship, sponsorship, bursary or discount (excluding stipend scholarships) for the same course.
Students who transfer courses will no longer be eligible for the scholarship
Citizenship requirements
Bangladesh, Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, China Mainland, Columbia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe citizens.
