You must meet the following criteria:
A current full-time Monash student or an applicant seeking to enrol full-time, in the Master of Commerce degree
You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are, or become, employed on a continuing basis or a fixed term contract for 3 months or greater.
To retain this scholarship:
The Faculty of Business and Economics has the discretion to cancel the scholarship after the first year if your eligibility to proceed into the PhD program is deemed unsuitable.
You must maintain full-time enrolment.

Selected based on outstanding academic achievement, interest in a research career in the relevant discipline and interview performance.

Applications must be submitted by the following deadlines:
Semester 1 (February): Applications open 1 July - 31 August (Applicants notified of outcomes by end October).
Semester 2 (July): Applications open 1 December-1 February (Applicants notified of outcomes by end March).
All applications for the MCom will be considered for the Scholarship as part of the selection process for the Integrated PhD program. Information about the application process for the Integrated PhD program is provided here
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a 30-minute interview with a panel constituted by the Master of Commerce Program Director of the relevant MCom specialisation
The scholarship can be deferred under special circumstances only.
