Replacing Animals in Medical Research Honours Scholarship

The objective of the award is to support students undertaking a one-year honours program who are conducting research that employs non-animal alternative methods, intending to replace the use of animals or animal-derived products in medical research.

The award is available each year to a current or prospective ANU student who:

(a) is a domestic or international student;

(b) receives an offer of admission to an honours specialisation in the ANU College of Science or the ANU College of Health and Medicine;

(c) is undertaking research utilising non-animal alternative methods to replace the use of animals or animal products in medical research.
