This award has been established in honour of Brian, a much loved and respected, long-time Coach for Algonquin Thunder Women’s Basketball and a former Thunder player himself. This award goes to the kind of player that Coach absolutely loved having on his team. The kind of player that Brian White was known to be. The Brian White Memorial Award for Athletic Achievement is given to a women basketball athlete who demonstrates determination, perseverance, leadership and sets an example for others.
