Established by University of Guelph alumna Jessica Bird and supported by the Charles D. Bird Charitable Foundation, this CAN $2,000 annual scholarship supports one student-athlete on the women’s varsity hockey team. Coaches will nominate a student to the Athletics Awards Committee. Entering student-athletes who are members of the Gryphon Women’s Hockey team or current members of the Gryphon Women’s Hockey team who have achieved a minimum 70% average or equivalent during the previous academic year as a student-athlete.
