Hospitality Student Success Award Restaurant International is a culinary teaching restaurant located at Algonquin College. It serves as a hands-on learning laboratory for students enrolled in Algonquin College’s various programs in the Hospitality area. The Hospitality Student Success Award is given to a student enrolled in any of the programs listed below: -Hospitality – Hotel & Restaurant Operations Management (0208X) -Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management (6225X, A, B, C, D) -Culinary Skills – Chef Training (0206X) -Culinary Management (0354X) -Bartending (0298X) -Culinary Arts and Food Science Degree (6180X) The Award is open to students • who are in good academic standing; (NB: VP, Student Services provided special approval to override standard requirements for specific minimum GPA specified in Policy SA05) • have demonstrated perseverance, resilience, and dedication throughout their studies; • have Demonstrated professionalism aligned with the values and standards of the hospitality/service industry; • have Maintained positive and effective working relationships with classmates and faculty; and • have demonstrated leadership abilities through academic and/or extracurricular activities
