HKU Faculty of Engineering Global Scholarship

The Faculty of Engineering serves as an international hub for students worldwide. To further enhance the diversity of our community, this scholarship honours outstanding non-local students, with preference for candidates from underrepresented regions.

Eligibility

All non-local applicants apply to the following programmes of the Faculty of Engineering are eligible:

• JS6303 – Bachelor of Engineering Elite Programme [BEng(Elite)]
• JS6315 – Bachelor of Engineering in Data and Systems Engineering [BEng(DASE)]
• JS6339 – Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering [BEng(ME)]
• JS6353 – Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering [BEng(CivE)]
• JS6365 – Bachelor of Engineering in Robotics Engineering [BEng(Robo)]^
• JS6377 – Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science in Engineering in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering [BEng X + MScEng AIE]
• JS6937 – Global Engineering and Business Programme [GEBP]
• JS6987 – Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronic Engineering [BEng(CE)/BEng(EE)/BEng(ElecE)]

^This programme is subject to the University’s approval.

Scholarship Package

• The Scholarship shall be a one-off non-renewable award up to half tuition fees.
• The Scholarship shall be disbursed in two equal installments respectively upon successful completion of the first and second semesters of the first academic year.
• The Scholarship may be held concurrently with other scholarships offered by the University.
