The scholarship supports students for study towards a research doctoral degree in the Faculty of Law at University of Canterbury.
Tenure: The scholarships are tenable for the period necessary to complete up to 360 points of enrolment

In making its recommendation, the selection committee gives consideration to: a. academic record; and b. the quality of the research proposal; and c. fit with the strategic themes and strands of the research direction of Te Kaupeka Ture | Faculty of Law. If, in any year, there are no candidates of sufficient merit, then no scholarship will be awarded.
