A scholarship to support international and domestic, full-time and part-time PhD students in the University of Auckland Business School.
The eligibility criteria for the scholarship are: (a) An applicant must be either: (i) a domestic student; or (ii) an international student who is eligible to pay domestic fees for enrolment in the doctoral programme. (b) Where a qualifying programme with a grade point average (GPA) or grade point equivalent (GPE) is the basis for entry to the PhD, an applicant must have a GPA/GPE of at least 8.0 (7.5 for Māori applicants and Pacific candidates) in that programme. Where a qualifying programme is entirely pass/fail, the University may generate a GPA only where the programme consists entirely of a thesis.

The selection criteria for the grant of the scholarship are: (a) alignment of the application with the strategic objectives of the University; (b) alignment of the application with the strategic objectives of the Faculty of Business and Economics; and (c) the specific selection criteria specified by the Faculty of Business and Economics on the University’s public website.
