Mature students
Awarded every year to two students studying for the BSc Social Work, BSc Midwifery (Pre-reg), BSc Nursing (Adult), BSc Nursing (Child), BSc Nursing (Mental Health), BSc Nursing (Learning Disabilities), BSc Paramedic Science. Students are eligible to apply if they are care-leavers or care-experienced students aged 18-24.
If the cohort of students does not include two eligible care-leaver or care experienced students, then any student under the age of 25 who is the first in their family to attend university and meets the age and course requirements may be considered for the award.

Students will be invited to fill out a short application form and winning students will be identified by a panel of academics.
