The Bachelor of Education (Primary) is a pre-service teaching degree that prepares you to teach students from Prep to Grade 6. It is accredited by the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board and recognised in all Australian states and territories. Once you graduate, you’ll be qualified to teach anywhere in Australia. What you’ll learn Throughout your degree, you’ll explore core teaching theory and evidence-based practice. You’ll examine child development and behaviour and study the subjects you’ll teach in the classroom. Your learning will focus strongly on literacy, including speaking, listening, reading and writing. You’ll also develop skills across Mathematics, Science, Health and Physical Education, Art and Music.
