The Bachelor of Science (BSc) course is designed to provide excellent science education across a broad range of science and technology areas of study and equip students with a range of knowledge and skills to enhance their science studies. The degree will provide flexible pathways to employment, research higher degrees and many professional postgraduate programs.The Computing and Software Systems major will focus on providing students with considerable technical expertise in computer science and software engineering, including exposure to a variety of programming paradigms, an understanding of the systematic processes underpinning the software development lifecycle, and an appreciation of advanced topics in computing. This major will be a natural pathway to the Master of Engineering (Software), the Master of Science (Computer Science), and the Master of Data Science. Graduates with a management orientation will also consider the Master of Information Systems (MIS).
