Understanding and preserving our natural environment and cultural heritage are essential to maintaining quality of life for current and future generations. Key skills and knowledge to succeed in these fields are developed in this Stream.

You will be equipped to work with the complexity of environmental systems through the study of ecology, biodiversity, physical geography, natural resource management, environmental impact assessment, and the application of spatial analysis. Cultural heritage is introduced via courses in archaeology, including field experiences to hone skills in material collection and analysis. With a strong focus on the history and archaeology of Western Australia, you will study specialist areas such as maritime archaeology and the archaeology of Indigenous Australia.
