The Combined Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Sciences and Master (CBM) course is a 4-year accelerated program for high performing students. Over the first three years you will complete an extended major in Sport Science, Exercise and Health and a semester of post-graduate studies. You'll then progress into a final full year at a postgraduate level. On completion, you will be awarded both a Bachelor and a Master's degree. The Advanced Bachelor Degree is available for students choosing to exit the program at the end of your third year.By completing this Combined Bachelor's and Master's course you will graduate with both a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Sciences and a Master of Applied Human Performance Science. In your first three years you will complete the Sport Science, Exercise and Health (Extended Major) where you will gain a sound basis in sport and exercise science theory combined with practical, technical and communication skills, followed by a semester of postgraduate study. You will then complete a final year of postgraduate study in the Master of Applied Human Performance Science. The master's component of the course aims to improve the knowledge, understanding and practical skills of practitioners currently, or prospectively working in the human performance industry.The Sport Science, Exercise and Health major (MJD-SEHDM) in any course leading to a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Sciences or Bachelor of Philosophy is accredited by Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA). Graduates will be eligible to apply as an accredited exercise scientist.
