The Diploma of Engineering will prepare you for success in your Monash Engineering degree. Our diplomas are in two parts: part 1 and part 2. In part 1, you’ll learn about the maths and science theory. In part 2, you’ll study the same subjects as first-year University students and develop your specialist knowledge of engineering and the practical skills you’ll need for University. Part 1 is completed over two trimesters across nine months. You’ll complete eight core units focused on essential mathematics, physics, and chemistry, along with practical skills development. These units build the foundation for your stream in Part 2 and help you transition smoothly into university-level learning.
