The Master of Business (Research) is an advanced coursework and research program in organisational leadership. Coursework will consist of research training units followed by an 18-month masters thesis. The course offers progression to the PhD program. Entry Requirements for Admission to the MBus (Research) The entry requirements for admission to the MBus (Research) are: Minimum of a 3-year undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, with a Grade Point Average of a Credit or above, OR A Bachelor (Honours) OR Masters degree in a relevant discipline AND A Statement of Intent that is succinct and no longer than 500 words. The Statement of Intent should identify your research cluster from the list below. Research Clusters Cluster 1: Leadership and Management of Large Corporations Cluster 2: Leadership and Management of Not-for-Profit Organisations Cluster 3: Leadership and Management of Start-ups, SMEs, and Family Business Cluster 4: Leadership and Management of Technological and Digital Transformation Cluster 5: Leadership and Management of Sustainable Business Operations Cluster 6: Leadership and Management of Government and Multilateral Organisations Cluster 7: Leadership and Management in Hospitality and Tourism.
