The Master of Nutrition and Dietetics will enable you to pursue your dream of becoming a dietitian, with the opportunity to become accredited by Dietitians Australia.In this postgraduate course you will develop the professional and personal qualities required for dietetic practice in a variety of workplace settings. On campus studies are combined with supervised professional practice placement providing opportunities for you to gain knowledge and skills in clinical practice an understanding of population health food service, community nutrition and public health nutrition and management experience. Professional practice placements may be in an urban or rural setting.The Master of Nutrition and Dietetics includes studies in:Personal development and professional practice, Determinants and influences of public health and nutrition, Nutrition fundamentals of health and diseaseFood: From science to systems.You will have the opportunity to apply theory to practice and develop research skills and knowledge relevant to nutrition and dietetic practice underpinning each of the four core areas of the program.This coursework only Masters degree will provide you with excellent opportunities to develop research skills in preparation for PhD entry.
