The bachelor of arts (BA) degree requires students to complete a minimum of 120 credit hours (a minimum of 40 courses) and generally takes four years to complete. During your studies, you will examine culture, thought, prehistory and history, human interactions, and the social and natural forces that constantly transform our society. You will gain the critical-thinking, analytical and communication skills needed to succeed and adapt in a changing world.Archaeology studies past and contemporary human cultures, across a variety of spatial and temporal scales, through the material left behind. Our objects of study encompass artifacts (e.g. tools and other objects modified or created by humans), features (e.g. architectural remains, hearths, artistic depictions), ecofacts (e.g. plant, animal and human remains, as well as sediments), archaeological sites and their associated landscape settings.Length: Four years
