The study of geography develops an understanding of the principles of ecological and physical systems of the cultural, social, economic, and political forces acting on those systems and of the management, planning or scientific tools necessary to meet environmental challenges and opportunities.

To be considered for admission, a university-preparatory language arts course and generally a minimum of four additional university-preparatory courses are required.
Official transcripts: To be considered 'official,' transcripts must be forwarded directly to Mount Allison's registrar's office by the issuing institution.
To be considered for admission, a minimum final grade of 65% or the equivalent is required in all university-preparatory courses reviewed.
IB diploma
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma candidates with an overall minimum score of 26 (excluding core points) will be considered for admission.
