A Bachelor of Environment in Global Environmental Systems will allow you to focus on environmental issues, particularly the climate crisis. Using a global perspective, you will explore the intersection of social and biophysical systems (e.g. housing developments and loss of wildlife habitat), learn about the consequences of these systems and uncover how their negative effects might be mitigated. Advanced data analysis and modeling will become part of your toolkit.The world is changing fast – ecologically, socially, politically and economically. Understanding why these changes are happening, how they interact, and how people are responding is critical. Our focus on human-environment interactions and interdisciplinary problem-solving will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to address some of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century.
