The Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMSc) degrees are four-year undergraduate degrees offered jointly by the Faculty of Science and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. This degree program is designed for students interested in advanced study in the basic medical sciences and focuses on all aspects of biology that define and influence the human condition. The Honours Specialization in Microbiology & Immunology with Pathology allows a more comprehensive understanding of the pathogenesis of human diseases.Students in Year 4 of each Honours Specialization module complete a research project/seminar course.Students who wish to combine an interest in Microbiology and Immunology with another discipline may register in either a Major in Microbiology and Immunology, which includes a selection of advanced courses, or a Minor in Microbiology and Immunology, which offers students an introduction to the discipline.
