These critical minerals and clean energy sources are required to construct the modern amenities we all rely on - cell phones, computers, electric vehicles, solar panels, healthcare infrastructure and much more. The Mining Engineering program at the University of Alberta is the biggest of its kind in Canada, offering a broad-based program covering subjects ranging from surface and underground mining to physical and mathematical sciences.
