The Honors After-Degree Program is for students who already hold a university degree. The Honors After-Degree Program provides the same clinical preparation as the After Degree Program, plus the opportunity to gain more in-depth knowledge in an area of research, as well as mentoring by a Faculty of Nursing researcher. As a university graduate , in any field of study , you have developed critical thinking and analytical skills, additional education and career skills, and life experience, all of which makes you an excellent candidate for this program, and for a career in nursing.A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree is your pathway to becoming a Registered Nurse (RN), which opens doors to a variety of careers in nursing and beyond. The Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta is recognized as one of the top nursing schools in Canada , we are leaders in research and in practice, with many unique clinical placements available. The faculty is housed in the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy, a state-of-the-art health sciences teaching facility adjacent to the University of Alberta Hospital.
